Recently there was a news story from Thailand on how a particular spiritual leader was teaching on magical ways one can gain wealth. This idea came with a strong rebuke from a Buddhist leader saying that we should not give way to getting wealth without hard work. Sad to say many Christians and even so called leaders have the same attitude that somehow wealth will just fall from heaven because “the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.” Let us never forget that the just are a people of faith who show their faith by their works.
Dear Lord…..take me far from laziness into the zone of hard, wise work…Amen and Amen!!
