“The Lord hates the stubborn, but delights in those who are good.” Proverbs 11:20 (The Living Bible)

From the account of King Saul we learn that stubbornness is like witchcraft, therefore it is not good. Stubbornness is self-willed and objects to any form of yieldedness to God or His ways. In this unyieldedness there is no conceding to any authority that is higher and God hates that because in the end it sidesteps the wonderful fruit that comes from humility and submission.

Dear Lord….I chose to please You by yielding to Your will and ways. Take pleasure in my yielding to You to make me what You want me to be…..Amen and amen!
