Post holiday depression? How could that be?

We are told that this time of year is the most depressing time of year for many people. The reasons may be that people have lost family, have slowed down, have some solitude and have to focus on who they are, or what has happened and cannot handle what they see or experience. Yet others face what we know as hangover and hate to deal with that.

Others on the positive side spend time with good people and family. They focus on more time for thankful reflection and introspection. They worship God more intensely because of the more time that has been afforded them. Holidays are really meant to be Holy Days with God.

Unusual opportunity for free time should be well spent in building up our personal lives through time with God, good recreation, reading and newfound relationships.
