Prayer

Some say that prayer changes things, but perhaps it is better put, that we become aware of how God is changing us and our surroundings when we pray. Prayer is getting close enough to God that we can hear him whisper. It's opening up our thoughts to God. Its learning to sense what is on God's heart, and agreeing with Him. Perhaps you have felt the urge to pray. That urge is God inviting you to come and talk with Him. It is amazing that the God who created us, and the vast universe in which we live wants to talk with us. I think we ought to accept His invitation.

Here at Gateway we have a room that is set aside for the purpose of prayer. It's a quiet place where you can go to pray, and it's a place where groups of people can join to pray together. Of course, you can pray wherever you are, but if you would like to pray with someone, or would like to come and pray in the prayer room, it is available during office hours.
