Jesus was the greatest example that ever lived when He girded Himself with the towel and washed the disciples’ feet. When He did that He was acting and being a slave.
This is so different from what we think at times. We think if we could just get someone to serve me, then that and I would be great!
The time when Jesus did this was when Judas was about to betray Him. This is a good lesson for us. When we are not being treated well, when the enemy is coming against us, that is the time to serve. When we feel like it the least is when we should serve the most.
