We really do need each other
At times, especially when conflict or misunderstanding occurs, we think we can do without each other. The clear truth on this matter is that though we can do without the conflict, hurt or misunderstanding, we don’t do well without each other. The bottom line is that God has specifically placed every person in our life for a reason, often to impact us in a positive way.
Often through Satan’s devices in the violation of ethics and relationships, we are taken through undesirable roads that cause us to resent relationships. However, we should not resent relationships. Rather, we should come against those things that out of God’s will and have negatively affected the relationship.
As an example, I can have a good relationship with a piece of equipment, however if I misuse the piece of equipment or fail to handle it correctly, I can get hurt by it and resent it as a result. This is a foolish way of thinking. A better way to look at it is to work with that piece of equipment in the right way, achieving a greater purpose as a result. This is the same with relationships. If we work properly together, the relationship will be fine. May our prayer be that we learn how to function well together, because in the end we really do need each other.
