Local Caring/ Global Mission
Christians live their lives according to the Word of God, Biblical patterns, and the leading of the Holy Spirit. We consider any other way of living to be out of God’s perfect will for our lives and for the church.
Acts 1:8 tells us that we “shall receive power after the Holy Spirit comes upon us to be witnesses in Jerusalem, (our home town) Judea, (our province) Samaria, (areas where there is controversy beyond our province) and to the ends of the earth.
During the months of November and December, we are reminding ourselves of the truth in the above paragraph. We are aligning ourselves to be in God’s perfect will, being in sync with the mandate to care locally and globally.
True Christians care for our next door neighbors. We care enough to share the good news and be good Samaritans who help people who are bleeding, and dying. We are people of kindness. We live out the Gospel at home, and by the grace of God take this good news around the globe.
You can join in Local Caring and Global Mission in at least 3 ways.
