Emmanuel God with us

The story of Christ’s birth is about God appearing or coming to earth in the Flesh. Theologians call this “the incarnation.”

Many refer to the phrase in scripture “no man hath seen God at any time;” that this never happened. However, the next part of the verse in John 1:18 states, “He (Jesus) hath declared Him God.” On another occasion Jesus said, “He that hath seen Me hath seen the Father.” John 14:9

Jesus Christ was the fullness of God made known in the Flesh. The mystery of Godliness is “God manifest in the Flesh.” If this is true, then Jesus is to be worshipped as God and He is divine and one with the Father. We join with the carolers of the season and sing “O come let us adore Him, Christ the Lord, For He alone is Worthy, Christ the Lord.”

   Jesus is…

God manifest in the Flesh

God manifest in all of His Fullness

Every name that ever described God in the past is an adequate description of Jesus. “God has given Him a name above every name that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.”
