People in our world are driven by many different forces. Some are driven by greed, lust, jealousy and even hatred. Others are driven to care in unusual ways with an underlying motivation to be compassionate.
Love drove Jesus to care for the wounded, sick and dying and then ultimately to the cross. The love of Christ constrained the Apostle Paul to travel the then known world with the gospel of Christ and to suffer many things for the cause of Christ.
Paul said that the love of Christ constrains the believer. Because Christ is in us we are driven by the same passions. His passion is our passion and His love is ours. Lives yielded to Him manifest who He is.
I have often said that God's people are the greatest people because of the life of Christ in them, motivating them to be like Jesus in this world.
