God has a great plan for our thought life. At the same time Satan has a horrible plan to fill our thoughts with only evil continually. He wants to corrupt, distort and destroy us in the end by gaining a hold on the key control centre of life that being the mind. In view of this he seks to track our mind into selfishness, division, death and non productivity. Satan so captured the minds of the people in Noah’s day that the only way God could deal with the corruption was to destroy all but Noah and 8 souls and the creation placed into the ark.
The bible tells us that “the thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness”. When we allow Jesus to be the Lord of our lives we begin and develop the renewed mind of Christ which is prayerful, positive, productive and peaceable. The writer of proverbs said the thoughts of the diligent tent toward plenty. El Shadddai is known as the God of plenty. He rules our thoughts toward plenty of good and well being in our world.
