The Gospel call has urgency to it. Lives are held in the balance, “fields are white with unto harvest” and the grain is falling to the ground.
“The Passion of the Christ” was not only displayed on the cross it was also shown in His life and ministry. When He said “I must work the works of Him who has sent Me while it is day for the night comes when no man can work.” Jesus was compelling or urging the people of His day to care and to love. When He said “I must go through Samaria,” He was passionate about reaching the outcast of society.
In a similar way we who have Christ within us are compelled or constrained by the love of Christ to bring people to Jesus that His house may be full.
