For more than 6 months our Staff has been considering the possibility of 3 services Sunday mornings. The second two services have and will continue to have the same contemporary, upbeat worship style which appeals to the greater population these days.
In our research, we have discovered that there is a need for people to be fulfilled with worship that is a bit more traditional with a contemporary touch. Therefore worship in our 1st Service will give expression to those more comfortable with lower sound levels and worship they can identify with.
We are asking that those who feel they can identify with this change would sign up to be part of the 1st Service, which will begin at 8:30 a.m. Sundays.
The service times will be: 8:30 a.m., 10:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. (the last service will conclude at 12:40p.m.; 10 minutes later than usual) and there will be Fellowship Breaks between the 1st & 2nd Services and the 2nd & 3rd Services. So we are encouraging people to arrive at 8:30 a.m., 9:50a.m. or 11:20 a.m. for the services that follow. Fellowship is important and you will have the opportunity to meet people both coming and going from the other services.
If anyone asks you why we are doing this, we believe that the Lord is calling us to do this for the sake of better participation, for more leadership and gifting involvement and ultimately, for growth.
