“The palace is not for man but for the Lord God.” I Chronicles 29:1
Many people still have the idea that God’s palace or house is for us. We could not be more wrong, thinking that. When Solomon built the temple, he built it for the Lord God.
Whatever we do, whether in Word or deed, we do all for the glory of God. God is Number One in our lives and should have that rightful place in the earth. It is first for God, then for us.
When we come together in corporate worship, “unto Him shall the gathering of the people be, and not unto us.” He is worshiped and adored. Our fellowship is in Him and around Him. He is paramount.
Like the elders in the Book of Revelation, we cast our crowns “before Him, lauding Him as King of Kings and Lord of Lords,” saying “Though art worthy oh Lord singing with all creation. For though has created all things and for thy pleasure they are created.”
