O’ Come Let Us Adore Him

I love the invitation given by the old carol in our title. When it dawns upon us who Jesus is our response is “let us adore Him.”

While many nostalgically look at Jesus as the cute baby boy in the manger with Mary & Joseph it goes much deeper than that. Cute humanity, yes, but His deity is something else.

God came in the flesh to earth when Jesus came. Creator, Sustainer, Wonderful Counselor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace,... that’s the one we adore. Over 400 names are given to the one whose name is above every name.
