History
In the early 1970's a small core of committed people had a vision to establish a Full Gospel Church in Prince George with a gracious, spirit-filled, spirit-led emphasis that would be unique in reaching people for Christ. It has never been the goal of this church to build on the foundation of another man or church, but to find people, in the leading of the Holy Spirit, who will commit to Christ and the vision that God has given.
The first facility was built on 1055 Ospika Blvd. and now this ministry is in transition to 1919 17th Avenue, which is a seven acre development on which our first phase has been built, which is now called a Christian Ministry Centre.
Presently a congregation of approximately 600 people gather weekly to worship Jesus, who is Lord. Several full-time overseers and several support staff serve this community of believers as well as missions, church plants, and outreaches that are ever-growing in the region and in many parts of the world.
Gateway Christian Shcool is also an arm of this ministry which trains children, kindergarten through grade twelve. Youth ministry is vital to this church where a program for youth is very strong and active. People, on a weekly basis, meet in Home Fellowships all over this city, to be strengthened and meet the needs of people in various localities. Children are an important part of this ministry and the Children?s Ministry is also led by full-time workers.
Our aim is to bless this community, our province and our world and this is accomplished by a prayer force of intercessors who pray for the specifics of God?s will to be accomplished here and around the World, but also there is a practical involvement that in an ongoing way carries this out.
People and publications go from this place to this region and the four cor?ners of the world for the glory of God and the extension of His kingdom.
